Nestled in the Whitening neighborhood of Gilbert, this luxury remodel was completed in two thoughtful phases, each one a celebration of beauty, function, and family living. From hard finishes to full furnishings, every space was designed with intention and a clear vision in mind: to create a light, soothing home with European influence that feels as welcoming as it is refined.
When Ashley first walked the home, she saw incredible potential beneath the original features, varied wall colors, dated tile, and uniquely placed niches. But the bones were solid, and the opportunity to breathe new life into this family’s home was one she was eager to take on.
Phase One included the Entry, Great Room, Movie Room, Kitchen, Family Room, Laundry Room, three children's bedrooms, and three bathrooms. The design emphasized elevated materials that could keep up with a family who loves to host. Light wood flooring set the tone throughout, paired with brass lighting fixtures that became instant focal points. Trim details were added to accentuate key spaces, while existing cabinetry was repurposed with fresh paint and updated hardware, each room with its own distinct touch. Quartzite countertops added both beauty and durability throughout.
Phase Two extended into the Primary Suite, Guest Bedroom, Office, Pool Bathroom, and even the home’s exterior. In the Primary Bedroom, Ashley tackled a unique architectural challenge: a double-sided fireplace that sat awkwardly between the bedroom and bathroom. With thoughtful trim-work and a custom French-inspired curved mantle, the once-awkward feature became a unifying centerpiece, tying the two rooms together seamlessly.
The bedroom was layered with texture and tone, velvet bedding, a fringe-trimmed duvet, and hints of green woven through the rug and decor. A French provincial-style bed, nightstands, and dresser grounded the room in old-world charm, while modern comforts like a chaise lounge and bench completed the look. Overhead, the Visual Comfort Jacqueline Chandelier added a sparkling final touch.
The Primary Bathroom was equally transformative. Ashley replaced a dated glass block wall with an arched shower entry, framed by two brass towel hooks. Marble was used generously, from mosaic floors to herringbone shower tile, and full-height walls for a luxe, spa-like feel. Cambria countertops, a Kohler clawfoot tub with a floor-mounted faucet, and the Paris Flea Chandelier brought in timeless elegance. Even the original window was replaced with a custom pane and softened with a tailored Roman shade and valance.
